Labor ministry adds one staff member to counter cyber threats
The Ministry of Employment and Labor increased its total workforce to 660 to strengthen responses to data leaks and system intrusions.
The labor ministry said it has added one employee to handle data breaches and cyberattacks on government systems, bringing its total staffing level to 660. The move aims to enable a swift response to personal information leaks and rising risks of cyber intrusions into government information systems.
Under a revised organizational decree that took effect Aug. 28, the count for general service employees rises to 653, while the specific grade for computer supervisors increases from 10 to 11. A separate table governing affiliated institutions also sees its total headcount rise to 665, with general staff increasing to 658 and computer supervisors growing by one to 11.
The update modifies attached tables within the existing framework to reflect the new headcount allocations triggered by the presidential decree.
