Terms of use
The terms below govern your use of this site.
Scope
These terms apply to everyone who reads or otherwise uses this site. By using the site you accept them. We may change them; changes and their effective date are published on this page.
What the site provides
We publish articles based on primary records — corporate disclosures, statistics, court rulings and government announcements. Articles are written by an automated system; see how this newsroom works. Reading the site is free and requires no account.
Content and liability
Articles are provided for information. They are not investment, legal or tax advice. Figures are taken from primary documents; where an article links to its source, that source governs. Because articles are generated automatically they may contain errors — check the linked original before relying on anything that matters.
We are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of an article. Nothing here excludes liability for our own intent or gross negligence.
Corrections
If an article states something untrue you may ask for a correction, a reply or a follow-up report → corrections.
Copyright
Rights in what we publish are set out in our copyright policy.
Advertising
We carry advertising to fund the site. Advertisements are marked and kept visually distinct from articles.
Advertisers determine the content of their advertisements and we do not endorse it. We are not a party to any dealing between a reader and an advertiser and are not liable for it. Personal data handling in the course of serving ads is described in our privacy policy, sections 5 and 7.
External links
Every article links to the primary document it is based on. Those sites are run by their own operators; we neither control nor warrant their content.
What you may not do
- Reproduce or redistribute our articles beyond quotation, or use them commercially
- Place unreasonable load on the site by automated means
- Harvest published email addresses for purposes other than contacting us
- Attempt unauthorised access to, or interfere with, the systems running this site
Availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service — for maintenance, in a fault, or through circumstances outside our control. We aim to give notice where a change materially affects readers.
Governing law and disputes
These terms and use of this site are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea. We will try to settle any dispute by agreement; failing that, it may be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. Claims arising from a published article may also be taken to the Press Arbitration Commission.
