Source and reading notes
Source: Bank of Korea ECOS, major currencies against the won, “Won per US dollar (reference rate)”. Statistical table 731Y001, item 0000001, daily frequency. Values are won per one US dollar. Use these codes to locate the original series in ECOS.
Period change = last value − first value. Percent change = (last ÷ first − 1) × 100, rounded to two decimal places. A single observation cannot establish a period change. Missing dates are not filled; this screen cannot distinguish weekends, holidays and collection gaps.
This reference rate is not a live traded price, market closing rate, bank cash or remittance quote, or fee-inclusive cost. A rise in this quotation means more won per US dollar. The shape of a line alone does not identify causes or predict future direction.
Our existing collector rereads the past 30 days at 08:10 and 15:10 Korea time. Source updates and collection times may differ. New and revised stored values appear on the next request to this section. Observation dates are not relabelled as today’s verification date. Controls and CSV generation run in your browser without saving your selections.
