Finance ministry adds one staff member
The Ministry of Economy and Finance increased its authorized personnel by one and extended evaluation periods for two divisions.
The finance ministry said it has added one Grade 6 official to respond to personal data leaks and cyber threats against government information systems.
The revision, enacted through a partial amendment to the Ministry's Organization Regulations Implementation Rules, raises the total authorized positions from 777 to 778. The increase specifically bumps the count of general staff from 769 to 770 and lifts the number of administrative, tax, customs, computer, statistics, industrial, or library officers at the Grade 6 level from 59 to 60.
Alongside the staffing increase, the ministry extended the evaluation period for the Youth Policy Division under the Economic Structure Reform Bureau and the Development Project Cooperation Division under the Development Finance Bureau until March 31, 2027. The amended rules took effect immediately upon their promulgation on August 28.
