Public Procurement Service adds two staff to handle data security risks

The Public Procurement Service said it will add two new staff members to strengthen its response to personal information leaks and cyberattacks on government systems.

To meet this need, the service will hire one sixth-grade official dedicated to personal information protection and another for general information security duties.

Under the amended regulations, these additions bring the total number of general position staff from 561 to 563 within the agency's main organization. The specific count of officials responsible for administrative, industrial, facility, computing or broadcasting communications affairs rises from 136 to 138.

The staffing adjustment also applies to the agency's affiliated institutions, where the total headcount will increase from 567 to 569. In this branch, the number of officials handling administrative, industrial, facility, computing or broadcasting communications affairs grows from 142 to 144. The revised decree takes effect immediately upon its promulgation.
