kt nasmedia reported a second-quarter net profit after a loss a year earlier, while revenue and operating profit also rose.
kt nasmedia's second-quarter net profit reached 6.82 billion won ($4.79 million), compared with a 473 million won loss a year earlier.
Revenue climbed 22.8 percent to 32.3 billion won ($22.6 million) from 26.3 billion won, while operating profit rose 200.8 percent to 7.82 billion won ($5.49 million) from 2.6 billion won in the same quarter of 2025.
The company has classified profit and loss related to the sale of stakes in former subsidiaries Play D and Nasmedia Thailand as discontinued operations since 2025.
Second-quarter revenue included 13.4 billion won ($9.42 million) from digital advertising and 18.8 billion won ($13.2 million) from platform advertising. Operating costs rose 3.3 percent to 24.4 billion won ($17.2 million) from 23.7 billion won a year earlier.
The company plans to support integrated operation of domestic premium video advertising inventory through nap dsp plus within the third quarter. "We expect this will secure both operational convenience and media efficiency as individually run video campaigns are converted into integrated campaigns in the second half," kt nasmedia said.
