Science ministry opens AIoT Week Korea with 170 exhibitors at Coex
South Korea's science ministry will host a three-day AIoT showcase in Seoul, pairing a 170-company exhibition with an international conference.

The science ministry said it will open AIoT Week Korea at Coex in Seoul on Nov. 3, bringing about 170 companies and institutions together for a three-day showcase of artificial intelligence fused with connected devices.
The event runs through Nov. 5 under the theme "Beyond Connection, New Value Created by AI." It is built around the argument that AI has moved past analysing information and answering questions, and is now being embedded in robots and devices that judge and act on their own in homes, factories and industrial sites.
At the center is an international AIoT exhibition in Hall D on the venue's third floor. SK Telecom, Hyundai Motor Group and Kia are among the large companies taking part, alongside research institutes including ETRI and KETI, with products and integrated solutions on display for manufacturing, logistics, cities, safety and healthcare.
The ministry's information protection and network policy director, Lim Jung-kyu, said "It is most important that the convergence of AI and the internet of things raises productivity at industrial sites and leads to service innovation that citizens can feel."
A conference on Nov. 4 will run four tracks and eight sessions with 24 presentations, and a separate OCEAN Summit 2026 is scheduled for Nov. 5. Organisers have also tied the week to AI Expo Mars 2026 in Hwaseong, where physical AI and future mobility are the focus.
