Labor ministry updates disability employment forms for new criminal justice job tracks
The labor ministry revised an application form under the disability employment promotion rules to reflect the merger of prosecution and drug-investigation job categories into a single criminal justice track.

The labor ministry said Friday it revised a disability employment form to reflect the consolidation of prosecution and drug-investigation job categories into a single criminal justice track.
The change, issued as Ministry of Employment and Labor Ordinance No. 484, takes effect the same day it was issued, Oct. 2. The amendment alters the third item in the notes and instructions section on the second page of attached Form No. 12, expanding the reference to "military personnel" to "military personnel, etc." and replacing "prosecution, drug investigation" with "criminal justice."
The revision follows an amendment to the decree on the appointment of public officials that merged the two job tracks into a criminal justice track, aligning with a new criminal justice system in which investigation and indictment are institutionally separated. The ministry said the form update brings the changed track names into the relevant paperwork.
The ministry said the revision also addresses shortcomings identified in the operation of the current system.
