HD Hyundai unit wins 338 billion won coal yard contract from Korea Midland Power
Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries will enclose the coal storage yards at Korea Midland Power's Boryeong thermal power plant under a revised contract valued at 338 billion won.

HD Hyundai said Tuesday that its subsidiary Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries has signed a revised contract worth 338 billion won ($249 million) with Korea Midland Power to enclose the coal storage yards at the Boryeong thermal power plant in South Chungcheong Province.
The contract covers units 1 through 8 of the Boryeong plant and runs through Aug. 31 next year, the company said in a regulatory filing. The revision raised the contract value from the amount originally disclosed, with the company citing a change in the won-denominated figure as the reason.
The work is for the indoor conversion of the coal storage yards at the plant, which is located in Boryeong, South Chungcheong Province.
