Namkwang wins 48.4 billion won power tunnel contract from KEPCO
Namkwang Engineering & Construction revised upward the value of a power cable tunnel project for Korea Electric Power, with its 75 percent share equal to 8.8 percent of its annual sales.

Namkwang Engineering & Construction said Wednesday it will build a power cable tunnel for Korea Electric Power, a contract worth 48.4 billion won ($36.6 million) to the company, or 8.8 percent of its annual revenue.
The revised figure applies to Namkwang's 75 percent stake in a project valued at 64.6 billion won in total, slightly higher than the 8.4 percent of sales the company had originally reported. The work, covering the western part of the Seoul metropolitan area, is scheduled to run through March 28, 2029.
The revision filed Wednesday updates the value of the KEPCO project rather than adding a new order.
