Kmpharmaceutical seeks to halt delisting order from Korea Exchange

Kmpharmaceutical said it has filed an application to suspend the enforcement of a delisting decision issued by the Korea Exchange. The company submitted the injunction on the 15th.

The filing, recorded as case 2026 카합 1532, names the exchange as the respondent and seeks to stop the delisting order along with any designation of the stock as a management issue.

The filing modifies a separate request made on the 1st, which sought only to suspend the management issue designation, to now include the broader delisting decision itself.

Baek Seung-won, chief executive officer of Kmpharmaceutical, attributed the financial struggles to strategic investments rather than operational failure.

"Operating losses continuing since 2022 stem from a temporary concentration of R&D investment and brand marketing costs for future growth," Baek said in a statement. "We are fully expanding our business domain into high value-added skincare and medical aesthetics based on our solid manufacturing infrastructure and quality trust accumulated over 20 years."

The company's core operations include the manufacturing and sales of oral care products such as toothpaste and toothbrushes, beauty care items including shampoos and cosmetics, and other daily necessities. Character merchandise featuring brands like 'Pororo and Friends' and OEM/ODM volumes account for a significant portion of its revenue.
