KG Inicis and KG Financial report payment revenue gains
KG Inicis posted 15.6 percent first-half revenue growth in 2026, while KG Financial recorded increases in current-period revenue and operating profit.
KG Inicis increased cumulative revenue for the first half of 2026 by 15.6 percent from a year earlier to 754 billion won ($528 million), extending sales growth at the electronic-payment infrastructure company, whose core business centers on online payment-gateway services.
KG Inicis recorded cumulative first-half revenue of 652 billion won ($456 million) in 2025.
For the second quarter, KG Inicis reported revenue of 372 billion won ($260 million), up 15 percent from 323 billion won ($226 million) in the corresponding quarter of 2025. Operating profit for the quarter was 28.6 billion won ($20 million), providing the profit measure reported with the quarterly sales result.
KG Inicis describes its main business as online electronic-payment PG, or payment-gateway, services within a broader electronic-payment infrastructure operation. Its service range also includes online and offline VAN services, rental-pay services and global payments, according to the company description on its website.
For its domestic payment-infrastructure base, KG Inicis cites a 52 percent market share measured by active e-commerce merchants. It also gives a cumulative merchant total of 200,000.
KG Inicis is pursuing cross-border payments through integrated support for local simple-payment services in Japan. The company calls this activity CBT, or cross-border payment, and identifies the Japan-focused integration work as a business being developed for growth.
Trade FX, which links trade payments with settlements connected to foreign exchange, is another stated growth business for KG Inicis. The company also identifies payment infrastructure for digital assets as a growth area, alongside its CBT and Trade FX initiatives.
KG Financial, whose stated business is electronic-payment services, provides online integrated PG and mobile-payment services. It reported current-period revenue of 62.2 billion won ($43.6 million), up 10.8 percent from the year-earlier period.
The year-earlier revenue figure was 56.2 billion won ($39.3 million), while cumulative revenue for that earlier period was 117 billion won ($82.2 million).
KG Financial reported current-period operating profit of 8.81 billion won ($6.17 million), a 17.8 percent increase from 7.49 billion won ($5.24 million) a year earlier. Cumulative operating profit for the year-earlier period was 15.2 billion won ($10.6 million), while current-period net income totaled 6.72 billion won ($4.7 million).
