Nota said it signed a supply contract with MetaM, its first commercial AI-agent infrastructure project, to develop an AI-native multi-agent customer-service system.

The contract date was the 12th. Its term starts on July 31 and ends on July 30 next year. No contract amount was released because MetaM requested that the figure remain undisclosed until July 30 next year.

Nota will develop a common AI engine that can be shared by multiple agents, as well as orchestration and retrieval-augmented generation technology, and apply its model lightweighting and optimization technology to the system.

"We selected Nota's AI model optimization technology to operate AI agents reliably in actual, large-scale customer-service environments," Im Eun-taek, MetaM's chief executive, said. "Together with Nota, we will reduce inference costs and memory use, core challenges in operating AI agents, and introduce a next-generation customer service that simultaneously improves both operational efficiency and customer experience."

MetaM is a specialist business-process outsourcing company with more than 20 years of experience operating contact centers. It has more than 200 customer companies and most recently reported revenue of 436 billion won ($308 million).

"In the era of AI agents, the core of competitiveness lies not only in an AI model's own performance but also in how quickly, reliably and cost-effectively it can be operated in actual live services," Cha Myung-soo, Nota's chief executive, said. "This project is an important milestone in expanding Nota's AI model optimization technology beyond individual models into the infrastructure domain for operating multiple AI agents."
