Quarterly net income rises 91.8 percent

The company recorded a 91.8 percent year-on-year increase in second-quarter net income, alongside annual gains in revenue and operating profit at the semiconductor and display equipment and materials manufacturer.

Second-quarter net income reached 21.1 billion won ($14.8 million), compared with 11 billion won ($7.71 million) in the year-earlier quarter.

Second-quarter revenue was 113 billion won ($78.9 million), up from 97.5 billion won ($68.3 million) a year earlier. Operating profit reached 23.5 billion won ($16.5 million), against 15.6 billion won ($10.9 million) in the same 2025 period.

Operating profit increased 51.2 percent and revenue rose 15.5 percent.

The sequential comparison moved in the opposite direction. Revenue fell 27.8 percent from the first quarter, operating profit declined 32.4 percent and net income dropped 33.2 percent.

In Q1, revenue stood at 156 billion won ($109 million), operating profit at 34.8 billion won ($24.4 million) and net income at 31.6 billion won ($22.1 million). Semiconductor division revenue was 147.2 billion won and accounted for 94.3 percent of total revenue, according to data on dart.fss.or.kr.

Over the first half, revenue totaled 269 billion won ($188 million), a 53.4 percent increase from 175 billion won ($123 million) a year earlier. Cumulative operating profit rose 149.4 percent to 58.3 billion won ($40.8 million), from 23.4 billion won ($16.4 million) in the prior-year period. Net income climbed 179.9 percent to 52.7 billion won ($36.9 million), compared with 18.8 billion won ($13.2 million) during the preceding year's first half.

The second-quarter measures were lower than their Q1 levels.

The company's main business includes manufacturing and selling semiconductor CMP and wet-cleaning equipment and slurry materials. It also manufactures and sells display Wet Station and Coater equipment.

Sales of semiconductor manufacturing equipment are heavily influenced by semiconductor-device manufacturers' capital-expenditure plans.
