TOVISCo posts higher second-quarter net income as sales rise
The display maker reported a 26.4 percent jump in profit for the three months ended June 30.
TOVISCo said Wednesday its second-quarter net income attributable to owners of the parent rose 26.4 percent from a year earlier to 14.1 billion won ($9.83 million).
Revenue for the period climbed 13.1 percent on-year to 188 billion won ($132 million), though operating profit slipped 13.7 percent to 15.8 billion won ($11.1 million).
For the first half of 2026, cumulative revenue grew 11.8 percent compared with the same period last year, while operating profit edged up 3.1 percent to 31.3 billion won ($21.9 million). Net income attributable to owners of the parent reached 30.1 billion won ($21.1 million).
Automotive displays accounted for 56 percent of consolidated revenue in the first quarter, generating 95.4 billion won ($66.7 million), while industrial monitors contributed 40 percent with 67.3 billion won ($47.1 million). The company has been expanding production lines at its Seocheon plant since 2024.
Management expects further growth in slot machine monitor sales as new casinos open in Las Vegas, Macau, Singapore and the Philippines.
