A US data-center power-equipment supply contract was revised to 231 billion won ($167 million) after its value increased.

The revised agreement, named the Big Tech Data Center Power Equipment Supply Project, calls for the supply of power equipment and distribution systems for a data center in the United States. The original contract was signed on June 8, when the supply period also began, and runs through Jan. 30 next year.

The expansion of global AI data centers and investment in advanced manufacturing facilities, including semiconductor plants, drove distribution-solutions performance. "Demand for power infrastructure is exploding in North America and other global markets, and orders for high-value products, from distribution solutions to extra-high-voltage transformers, are increasing," an LS Electric official said. "We achieved record results and will pursue future power solutions to expand global market share."

The revised contract represents 4.7% of most recent revenue of 4.97 trillion won ($3.59 billion). The revenue benchmark is based on consolidated financial statements at the end of 2025.
