Lotte Chilsung Beverage reported a 10.4 percent year-on-year decline in operating profit for the 2026 second quarter, as the drinks and soju maker issued a consolidated earnings filing on Aug. 5.

Second-quarter revenue was 1.11 trillion won, rising 16.8 percent from 952 billion won in the preceding quarter and 2.4 percent from 1.09 trillion won a year earlier.

Sequentially, operating profit rose 16.8 percent from 47.8 billion won in the first quarter to 55.8 billion won in the second quarter. The corresponding operating profit for the company in the 2025 second quarter was 62.4 billion won, according to the filing.

Net income for the second quarter reached 28.2 billion won, compared with 27.7 billion won a year earlier, representing a 1.7 percent gain for the company.

In the first half, revenue came to 2.07 trillion won, up 3.4 percent from 2 trillion won in the same six-month period of 2025. Operating profit across the six months totaled 104 billion won, 18.6 percent higher than 87.4 billion won a year earlier. Net income for the half reached 53.5 billion won, compared with 33.2 billion won in the corresponding 2025 period.

The earnings data use a consolidated financial-statement basis, while the first-quarter product-mix revenue shares are reported on a separate-company basis.

The company's main business is the manufacture and sale of carbonated drinks and soju, placing both categories within its integrated beverage operations.

Carbonated drinks generated 35.6 percent of the company's beverage revenue on that separate-company basis during the first quarter of 2026. Chilsung Cider and Pepsi-Cola are the main brands identified by the company within its carbonated-beverage range in those disclosures.

Soju generated 17.6 percent of the company's separate-company revenue during the same first-quarter 2026 period, according to its published information. The company listed Chum Churum and Saero as the main brands in its soju business within the beverage portfolio.

PCPPI, a major Philippine subsidiary, sells Mountain Dew and Pepsi-Cola carbonated beverages and the Sting energy drink, and recorded first-quarter revenue in 2026.

In April 2026, Lotte Chilsung Beverage launched Gatorade Run, a new sports beverage with electrolytes and vitamins for runners.

In June 2026, it launched Gatorade Powder Lemon Lime Flavor, a powdered sports-drink product intended to be mixed with water.
